Teresa Lana Villarreal graduated in chemistry from the University of Navarra in 1999. He obtained his doctorate in 2004 by the University of Poitiers (France) in co-tutela with the University of Navarra. He made his doctoral thesis under the guidance of the professors Nicolás Alonso-Vante (University of Poitiers) and Pedro Salvador (CSIC-Institute of Catalysis and Petrolchemical), in the area of semiconductor foto-electrochemical. He did a PhD student stay in the University of Alicante, where he joined as Assistant doctor Professor in 2005.
His research activity has focused on the foto-electrochemical of semiconductors, particularly of titanium oxide. The main research work carried out within this theme can be divided into:
Preparation and characterization of electrodes of semiconductor oxides nanestructurados and mixed electrodes (metalasemiconductor)
Study of the mechanism of cantly in organic molecules model in competition with the cantly of water
Study semiconductor-electrolyte interface by combining technical electrochemical with vibrational wave.
