Dr. José Solla Gullón, member of our institute, will be one of the invited speakers at the Gordon Research Conference of "Clusters and Nanostructures" that will take place from June 16 to 21, 2019 in Les Diablerets, Switzerland.
The work entitled "Bi-modified Pt Electrodes to Glycerol Electrooxidation in Alkaline Solution: Effects on Activity and Selectivity" and in which William Cheuquepán and José Solla-Gullón, members of our institute, have been published and selected as cover in the journal ACS Catalysis.
The Governing Council of the UA has approved, at its meeting of December 18, 2018, the concession of the Extraordinary Doctorate Awards 2018/19. The prize corresponding to the Doctorate Program of Electrochemistry. Science and Technology, has been awarded to Dr. Rosa María Arán Ais for her thesis entitled "Interfacial reactivity: model surfaces and tailored shape-controlled nanocatalysts", conducted at the University Institute of Electrochemistry under the direction of professors D. Juan Miguel Feliu Martínez and D. Enrique Herrero Rodríguez.
